Monday 14th
*Shurley-Review Shurley Sentences Pattern 1 and Jingles
*Vocabulary- None
*Essay- Due Wednesday (persuasive essay including rubric, checklist, final draft, rough draft, and graphic organizer.)

Tuesady 15th
*Shurley- Brief introduction to pattern 2 sentences with Direct Objects. Pronoun activity.
*Essay- Due Wednesday

Wednesday 16th
*Shurley - If there is time, short pattern two activity.
*Essay- Essay due today. Present it in front of the class.

Thursday 17th
*Shurley- Further introduction to Pattern 2 sentences
*Idiom activity

Friday 18th
*Idiom activity

December 7th - December 11th

Monday- Make 150 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Write inspirational quotes to include in each lunch sack. 6 class representatives will help deliever the meals to the South Side Mission after school today!

Tuesday - Trade and Grade Vocabulary Packet today. Create your own vocabulary test using each of the 20 words. This will be an in class activity. Rough Draft of your persuasive essay should be turned in to me today.

Wednesday - Full class debate. Two teams will debate for and against reasons to help the needy.

Thursday - Transition lesson, revise persuasive essay.

Friday- Vocabulary Quiz. Idiom discussion.
