*Homework- Facts about self paper due ( This was not collected on Friday so I will be collecting it on Monday.)
*Vocabulary- Unit 1: Vocab packet handed out with explanation of due dates. Please do not wait until last minute to do your homework. Work on a little bit each night.
*Shurley- Unit 1, Group A, Lesson 5: (Synonyms & antonyms, Jingles, References, Parts of a sentence, and the hand diagram)
19th: Tuesday
*Homework- Review the days lesson... this will help you with the short quiz Wednesday. Continue working on your vocab packet for Wednesday. Make a note to bring colored pencils/ crayons on Wednesday.
*Vocabulary- Not due, Continue working on first section of the packet for Wednesday.
*Shurley- Unit 1, Group A, Lesson 6: (Jingles, Kinds of sentences) Group A quiz in class
20th: Wednesday
*Homework- 1st section of vocab packet is due. Group A quiz will be collected if not completed Tuesday in class. Please bring colored pencils/crayons today.
*Vocabulary- Trade & Grade vocab fill in the blank.
*Project- Blue Ribbon writing project
*Shurley- No Shurley today.
21st: Thursday
*Homework- Vocab synonyms & antonym section due Friday.
*Vocabulary- Continue working on vocab packet. Synonyms & antonym section due Friday.
*Project- Blue Ribbon writing project continued. Today I will be meeting with each student individully to discuss their writing goals.
*Shurley- No Shurley today.
22nd: Friday
Homework- Vocab synonyms & antonym section due today. Finish up blue ribbon papers for 'publishing'.
*Vocabulary- Trade & grade vocab synonym & antonym.
*Project- Blue Ribbon writing project continued. Today I will be meeting with each student individully to discuss their writing goals (continued). Publishing = reading blue ribbon paper in front of the class.
*Shurley- No Shurley today.
