*Writing- We will be revising our introduction paragraphs. Choosing a new hook and reviewing how articles in the newspaper use hooks. Discuss purpose for writing.

*Writing- Listening for main idea, using what you know, brainstorm for main ideas, and developing main ideas (all in class activities.

October 7th: Wednesday

*Writing- Expository paragraph writing: Dashing Descriptions and (one of the following) Senses that make sense/Dazzling descriptions (in class activities that may need to be finished as homework.) In class students will develop a Purpose for their paragraph and develop a topic sentence.
